FEBRUARY'S TOP 3

One thing that's part of your program if you train with me is the 8-WEEK PROGRESS REPORT. It actually was monthly before but I decided to change it to 8 weeks since top boxers train for 8 weeks for optimum performance for championship bouts.

Now, I am applying a great system! Joe Leinhauser from Iron Gloves Boxing based in Tempe, Arizona came up with a system that makes boxing progress reports "measurable". What makes it cool for me is the fact that the trainer acts like a school teacher giving out grades to his students. Now, it's both quantitative and qualitative progress data given to each client. I stuck to the old progress report system plus I added the new system from Iron Gloves.

There are 27 criteria that are followed. Some criteria are as follows: endurance, jab, right hand, hook, uppercuts, menta toughness accuracy, mitt work, speed bag among others. Each is scored on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest). From then on, the average is computed then you'll get your score for the month which corresponds to your level: below average, average, above average, good, excellent, master.

1. Loretta H- 8.48
2. Shelly H- 8.41
3. Marissa E- 8.33
