Hate the accident, love the food!

March 13th, 6:15am..... I woke up very tired and then quickly realized that I had to get up for my first client at 7am. I rushed myself in out of the shower and immediately rushed to my car only to see my car covered with ice. After scraping, I then moved on to drive as fast as I could. Halfway thru my trip, I lost control and hit another car! Boom! You know the saying "your life flashes right before you"? THAT'S NOT TRUE! My instinct was to blow my horn and avoid injury, bu it was too late. The slippery road won that day.... Aside from whiplash on my neck and a little kink on my left knee, I'm glad I was ok... but boy I WAS PISSED!

After training somebody at 7am, I went straight to McDonalds! Correct! I was so mad that I needed to comfort myself by eating Deluze breakfast with all the extras! I knoew that it was bad for me but what the heck, I wanted to comfort myself! Great breakfast! I was full. But then I realized that I let my emotions control me, and it did not help at all!

Emotional eating happens at times. A few days after my accident I came across the I can make you thin system by Paul McKenna. He has 4 methods to follow and one thing struck me the most. I tried it one time and it worked. Here is number 3 of his methods:

1. Eat whatever you want.
2. Drop your utensils every after spoonful.
3. Just eat... no TV, computer, book etc
4. Chew your food at least 20 times.
5. Be conscious of what you eat.

It was tough doing it but it worked. I did not crave too much about what I ate and I had leftovers. Now, if your problem is emotional eating, try to control yourself by doing this. The best thing is that you can eat whatever you want, but with the psychological advantage, you won't eat as much!
