I have been lucky to train with the best trainers and coaches in the sport of boxing in the Philippines. For an island nation, we have 5 World Champions at the moment which is an accomplishment for any small country. While I was fooling around and reading some local articles online, I came across an article about boxing written by some kid. He trains under one of my coaches, Jun Tomagan. Jun was the power coach of the gym. He was one of strict ones and he was responsible for making my knuckles bleed all the time. My mitt work workout with him made my punches very strong though. I miss training with the guys at my gym back home. We were like family--- a band of brothers and sisters.
Enough of the reminiscing.... Here is a something I liked from the article that I'd like to share with you..... SOME BENEFITS OF BOXING!
boxing is said to improve our moods by increasing the blood and oxygen supply to the brain and body. It also counteracts depression (and premenstrual tension in women) by decreasing salt retention caused by high hormone levels, improves deep sleep, and is one of the most effective workouts for weight loss, endurance and speed development.
I don't discuss technical terms with my clients but this is good information indeed so there you go!
Is the "benefits paragraph" too scientific or technical? Here is my solution! Make sure to grab a copy of my 37 page e- book: How to Achieve a Leaner and Stronger Body with Limited Time, Space and Equipment (a $299 value, yours for FREE). I assure you that this strategy report is very easy to understand! Not complicated, very informative, great value!!! lawrence@trainlikeaboxer.com for that!
